Craftsmanship and Technology
We all love and appreciate the craftsmanship needed to produce intricate, finely made antiques.
Our aim at The Woodjoint is to produce tomorrow’s antiques today.
Our craftsmanship is evident through our use of traditional building techniques such as mortise and tenon dovetail and finger joints.
We combine these traditional techniques with modern technology and machinery. This allows for increased accuracy and reduced labour and costs.
It would often take a craftsman a month or more to build and French polish a dresser with dovetail joints.
Our Workshop is equipped with the latest technology. We can produce high quality, custom-made items at reasonable prices. We do not mass produce items.
Craftsmanship is our key.
